"I have a 2-person infrared sauna and I recently bought the infrared sauna blanket. First off, I bought my sauna blanket with the blanket insert, and I can't imagine using it without it. I'll add that I think you could buy a regular twin size waffle blanket and fold it in half and save money on the insert. There's no clean up with the blanket.

Pros:

1. I use the sauna blanket on my bed so it's much more comfortable than sitting on a bench for an hour.

2. When I get out of the blanket, the insert has soaked up most of my sweat so I'm not dripping wet, this makes for a slower and more relaxing cool down (unlike my actual sauna where I'm instantly freezing once I'm out of it).

3. Personal preference, but now that I have the blanket, I appreciate that my head can be cooler, for me, it's just feels easier to breathe.

1. It may be a bit claustrophobic for some people. It's like a heavy sleeping bag, so you're limited in movement. It's not as noticeable when you're dry, but 30+ minutes in, when the insert is damp it is harder to move; I usually take my arms out at this point which helps.
